I really look forward to Kathryn’s yoga class due to her wonderful, thorough teaching and fantastic personality. Kathryn welcomed me into her class a couple of months ago with a huge smile and continues to do so every week i attend. Her standard of teaching is highly skilled, well explained and leaves me feeling I have learned a bit more about my mind and body!
I’m Kathryn, a qualified British Wheel Yoga teacher with 17 years of teaching experience and 25 years of practice.
I approach teaching in a dynamic and enthusiastic manner, drawing on the many schools of yoga. I love Yoga as there is always something new to learn.
My own practice is predominantly influenced by BKS Iyengar with a focus on details, integration and alignment.
I travel to India every year to build on my knowledge and gain inspiration. This gives me the enthusiasm to teach and helps to expand my practice.
I ensure that lessons are always interesting and fun. Creating awareness and intelligence in your body and movements while improving your strength and posture.
When you leave at the end of the session I aim for you to be calmer, stronger and happier.
If you have a passion for yoga or are a complete beginner you will always feel welcome.

I have been going to Kathryn’s classes for over a year now and I love them so much, that I now go twice a week. Her classes are always a bit different and you can tell how much work goes into preparing them – you never get bored! It is not your typical Vinyasa style class, as so much time is spent preparing and your body for a particular pose and it makes you realise how wrong you’ve been doing it in the past. I feel so much better physically and mentally since starting her sessions
